Iveco Trucks is based at Wacol and is one of Brisbane 's leading Truck dealers specialising in Iveco Trucks and Iveco Daily Vans. We are in a growth phase and looking to expand our Service Department productive team to manage increasing customer demand. Consequently, we have one position available at our Wacol facility for a suitably experienced Workshop Quality Controller.
Role purpose:
As, an effective member of the Service Management team, this role is to support the Workshop Foreman in the daily duties of running smooth, productive, and efficient productive team. This Includes job allocation, Road-testing, fault diagnosis, quality control and maximizing on up sell opportunities. Ensuring that quality, productivity, and efficiency meet our KPI's. Assure all work performed in the Service Workshop is compliant with our company and industry standards, while maintaining a safe environment. You will also act as the conduit between our Service Advisors to provide effective communication to better enhance our customer experience.
Major Responsibilities:
Ensure sufficient task analysis is completed to carry work out safely.
Ensuring:
- The ability to work closely in a team to ensure quality standards are met.
- Control workshop workflow including liaising with Foreman, Service Advisors and Service Manager, both verbally and ERA Workshop Control.
- All repairs are performed to Iveco standards.
- All dealer to Iveco and customer contacts are professionally performed, example ERW's, THD, WPA, goodwill assistance requests.
- Required reports and records are kept accurately and recorded in the appropriate systems.
- Repair order content including condition, cause and correction are correctly noted, Easy downloads when required, Serial number when required.
- Time keeping for staff work time and repair order clocking is clean and concise 98% productivity is required.
- Equipment maintenance and calibration certificates are current.
- Exceptional care and attention is paid to the protection of customer vehicles and personal belongings, example floor mats and seat covers are used.
- All workshop facilities are maintained, kept in clean and in good working order.
- Present a professional representation of the Iveco brand.
- In accordance with the tool room procedure issue special tools to technicians and ensure they are returned in as good condition.
- Ensure all team members are working in a safe manner.
- The ability to work closely in a team to ensure quality standards are met.
- Great customer focus, the ability to lead by example.

The Candidate:
- Relevant HVC Qualification.
- HR drivers' licence is essential to this position.
- Attention to detail with the ability to problem solve.
- Good computer skills (ERA preferred but not essential)
- Strong ability to diagnose faults, both electronic and Mechanical.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written and a team player.
