Position Summary & Primary Objectives
Reporting to the Sales Manager – Phriendly Phishing, the Mid-Market Business Development Manager is responsible for winning new clients directly through prospecting, outbound outreach and your own lead generation activities, internal marketing efforts and in turn identifying growth opportunities and developing and implementing strategies to increase the sales of the Phriendly Phishing product, developing our presence and reputation in the market, and positioning us as Australia and New Zealand's premier phishing and awareness tool.
*Key Roles & Responsibilities*
- Focus on E2E net-new mid-market sales across Australia, typically 2 months sales cycle
- Build strong, long-lasting customer relationships, and a thorough understanding of customer needs and how our solutions can meet those needs
- Respond to customer requirements, including requests for quotes/proposals/tenders
- Identify business improvement and strategic new business opportunities
- Leverage company tools to be able to identify potential customers and your own prowess in order to knock down those company doors
- Utilise SalesForce CRM tool to track and leverage customer information, ensuring standard processes during all sales stages and tailoring sales calls toward customer needs
Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- 2+ years of IT, HR Tech or SaaS sales experience
- Candidates who have come from a high volume outbound or call centre environment will also be considered
- A record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets and developing and executing on sales plans
- Demonstrated success winning new customers and growing your accounts
- Solution-selling and/or Challenger Sales experience
