About the role

As a New Car Sales Consultant at Gateway Automotive Group, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales of our impressive range of new vehicles. Working in our state-of-the-art showroom in Fairy Meadow, NSW, you'll be responsible for guiding customers through the buying process and ensuring they find the perfect car to suit their needs and lifestyle. This full-time position is an exciting opportunity to join a leading automotive retailer and develop your sales expertise in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Engaging with customers to understand their requirements and recommend the most suitable new vehicle options
  • Providing professional and knowledgeable advice on our product range, features, and pricing
  • Demonstrating vehicles and facilitating test drives to showcase the capabilities and benefits
  • Negotiating with customers to close sales and secure new vehicle orders
  • Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities
  • Collaborating with the wider sales team to achieve individual and collective targets
  • Providing exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably within the automotive industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers
  • Excellent product knowledge and the ability to match vehicle features to customer needs
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills to secure sales
  • A passion for the automotive industry and a desire to provide an outstanding customer experience
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable attitude
