Your Opportunity

* Primero is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to join a newly awarded project.

* Site-based and hands-on, you will be contributing to the successful delivery of the project on behalf of our client.

* You will be primarily responsible for assisting the Project Manager and Construction Manager in determining priorities, meeting strict deadlines and budget demands whilst having the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

* Roster: 2:1

Your Key Responsibilities

* The ability to liaise with procurement personnel for all necessary material and consumable requirements.

* The ability to read and interpret specifications, technical drawings, schematics, and any other engineering documentation and/or reports.

* Previous experience managing and implementing quality control and assurance systems and processes.

* The capacity to plan, schedule, conduct, and/or coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work.

* Proficient in Microsoft excel, word and outlook.

What You 'Can Do'

* Significant experience as a site based Project Engineer on Major Projects.

* Experience with managing multiple packages and subcontractors.

* Experience in management and implementation of quality control and assurance.

* Experience in multi-discipline, mining project delivery.

* Possess a strong understanding of applicable codes.

* Ability to read and interpret design drawings, schematics and other engineering drawings.
