Senior Project Engineer – Studies

6-Month Contract | Perth Based

Our client is seeking an experienced
Senior Project Engineer
to support the delivery of
feasibility and concept studies
that underpin their decarbonisation objectives. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact studies shaping the future of energy operations.

You'll work directly for our client, coordinating multidisciplinary input to develop robust, data-driven insights that support capital investment decisions. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across engineering, operations, and innovation teams, ensuring studies are executed with rigour, governance, and commercial awareness.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Leading early-stage studies across decarbonisation and innovation initiatives.
  • Evaluating electrification pathways and enabling infrastructure.
  • Assessing emerging technologies for technical and commercial feasibility.
  • Applying structured study governance, risk management, and decision support frameworks.
  • Coordinating internal and external stakeholders to align study outcomes with business objectives.

About You:

  • Degree-qualified Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Systems).
  • Proven experience delivering concept or feasibility studies within mining, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience developing investment support packages (IRR, NPV, TCO).
  • Confident engaging across multidisciplinary teams and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
