About the Opportunity:

In light of our recent expansion and growth, PARC Engineering are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join our 2:1 project to work either in a FIFO capacity or locally depending on preference.

What you'll do:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and quality control measures.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with consultants, and the client to address and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Lead
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer in mining and construction sector
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and construction methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with project management software and tools.

About You

You're likely to be an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer with demonstrated experience working on major mining projects.

In addition, you will bring the following skills and attributes:

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Mechanical project engineering
• Demonstrated experience in working on engineering projects within the mining industry.
• Previous experience interfacing with clients and strong stakeholder management skills.
• Proven project management skills and demonstrated ability to deliver work within agreed budget, timeframe and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Mechanical registration (preferred).
• Certifications in project management, safety, and quality management (preferred).
