CBLA proudly owns and manages OET, the world's leading English language test tailored for healthcare professionals. We set the standard for healthcare communication skills, ensuring that overseas-trained healthcare professionals deliver high-quality and safe patient care. Our mission is to improve global healthcare services, enhance the lives of patients and healthcare professionals, and create a sustainable enterprise where all stakeholders enjoy long-term success.
About The Role
We are on the lookout for a Social Media & Creative Content Lead who will take our global digital presence to the next level - building vibrant communities, driving engagement, and creating content that inspires and connects with healthcare professionals around the world. This is not your typical content role. As the Social Media & Creative Content Lead, you will be both a strategist and creator—setting the vision, crafting platform-first stories, and experimenting with bold ideas that cut through and resonate. Reporting to the General Manager of Marketing, you will shape how OET shows up across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning CBLA's global social channels, from strategy to execution representing the OET brand.
- Developing engaging, creative, and innovative content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, memes, live events).
- Driving growth in impressions, followers, and brand love.
- Building authentic communities through influencer partnerships, ambassadors, and interactive campaigns.
- Using social listening and analytics to generate insights that inform our marketing, product, and communications strategies.
- Collaborating across teams to align content with global campaigns and audience needs.
About You
- 4 years' experience in social media content creation, community management, and creative storytelling.
- Proven success in growing communities and engagement.
- Strong skills in short-form video production—shooting, editing, and motion graphics.
- A portfolio showcasing content that resonates in culture, inspires action, and delivers results.
- Excellent digital copywriting and storytelling skills tailored to platform and audience.
- Familiarity with tools like Sprout Social or similar analytics platforms.
- A forward-thinking, experimental mindset—you're curious, creative, and ready to innovate.
What We Offer
- Be part of a mission-driven organisation making a global impact in healthcare and education.
- Work with a passionate, collaborative team who values excellence, respect, innovation, and open communication.
- Play a lead role in shaping brand voice in the fast-evolving digital landscape.
- Enjoy the scope to experiment, push boundaries, and see your creative ideas come to life with a global audience.
Eligibility
You must have Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or unrestricted work rights. All final-stage applicants will be required to complete a police check before commencing employment.
