About the role
Grand Prix Narangba is seeking a skilled Workshop Back Counter to join our team in Narangba, QLD. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and parts support to our busy automotive workshop.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting customers by promptly and accurately identifying and sourcing the required parts and accessories
- Managing the stock and inventory of the parts counter, ensuring efficient replenishment and organisation
- Providing technical advice and guidance to workshop technicians on appropriate parts and solutions
- Liaising with suppliers to coordinate timely delivery of parts and materials
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all parts transactions
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
What we're looking for
- Relevant parts counter or automotive retail experience, ideally within the automotive industry
- Strong product knowledge and the ability to quickly identify and source the right parts
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with both customers and colleagues
- Strong numerical and administrative skills to manage inventory and documentation accurately
- A flexible and adaptable approach to handle the varied and fast-paced nature of the role
- A genuine passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to providing exceptional service
