About the Role

As the HSE Manager at Terex, based in Eagle Farm, QLD, you'll be the driving force behind our health, safety, and environmental strategy across Franna & Jaques Australia. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll lead compliance, training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives that shape a culture of safety and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and influence the HSE strategy across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with legislation and Terex standards while fostering a proactive safety culture.
  • Drive continuous improvement through regular audits, inspections, and incident investigations, turning insights into actionable safety enhancements.
  • Deliver impactful training and onboarding programs, empowering team members with the knowledge and tools to work safely and confidently.
  • Champion wellbeing by managing workers compensation claims, coordinating return-to-work programs, and supporting injured team members with care and professionalism.
  • Maintain robust systems by overseeing HSE documentation, compliance registers, and performance reporting to ensure operational excellence.

What You'll Bring

  • Degree or Diploma in OH&S (or equivalent).
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar HSE leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and psychosocial hazards.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and competent Word skills.
