Stockwell Delivery is seeking a site-based HSE Coordinator to lead the daily planning, co-ordination and delivery operations on a new 10 storey mixed-use project located in West End, Brisbane.

Stockwell has a rich history of construction and development spanning over 73 years with a pipeline of work in residential, commercial, retail and leisure projects throughout Queensland.

You need to have a high level of understanding in all areas of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and proactive forward-thinking approach.

You will be responsible for implementing HSE and overseeing our West End based project site.

Role Description:

  • Reporting to the HSE Lead, the HSE Coordinator will work alongside the Site Manager and Project Manager to deliver on the following responsibilities.
  • Liaising with Site Managers/Supervisors for subcontractor management including SWMS reviews.
  • Coordinating and delivering site inductions for all contractors on-site.
  • Ensuring our Safety, Environment systems are effectively implemented on-site.
  • Conducting site audits and site inspections.
  • Collect and maintain HSE records of reported injuries, hazards, incidents, and near misses.
  • Overseeing daily sign-in processes to ensure compliance.
  • Liaising with project personnel and subcontractors to resolve issues, investigate and implementing corrective actions.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports and statistics.
  • Staying up to date with and implementing legislative and regulatory changes.
  • Assist with regular Toolbox Talks and Pre-starts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using Hammertech, or similar, is desirable.
  • Excellent communication  - verbal and written skills.
