About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Channel Lead- Furniture to take ownership of our growing furniture portfolio. Reporting to the General Manager, this role is responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy, driving sales performance, and managing the full channel ecosystem.
The Furniture Lead will focus on expanding market share, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring the success of our exclusive product ranges. With a strong balance of commercial leadership, sales expertise, and product management, this role is key to positioning our brand as a leading supplier of quality furniture solutions across B2B and B2C markets.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Strategy & Development
· Develop and implement strategies to grow market share in the furniture category.
· Identify, recruit, and onboard new partners, including distributors, retailers, e-commerce platforms, and project specifiers.
· Manage and strengthen existing partnerships to align with company objectives.
· Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to guide growth opportunities.
Sales & Business Development
· Define and achieve ambitious sales targets and performance KPIs.
· Lead business development efforts to win major projects, tenders, and long-term contracts.
· Build joint business plans with key partners to drive mutual success.
· Provide sales training and product knowledge support to internal teams.
Marketing & Merchandising
· Partner with marketing to deliver channel-specific campaigns, promotions, and digital content.
· Ensure effective product presentation, visibility, and merchandising across retail and online channels.
· Develop sales collateral, product guides, and promotional materials to support the category.
Performance & Reporting
· Track and report on sales, profitability, and market share within the furniture portfolio.
· Deliver performance reviews and business updates to senior leadership.
· Monitor channel partner performance to ensure alignment with agreed targets.
Product Management & Operations
· Collaborate with suppliers and sourcing teams on product development, range extensions, and portfolio enhancements.
· Work with operations and logistics teams to ensure efficient supply chain, fulfillment, and customer satisfaction.
· Maintain a strong focus on quality, sustainability, and product innovation.
Key Skills & Qualifications
· –10 years of experience in the furniture, workplace solutions, or related industry, with 3–5 years in a leadership or category/channel role preferred.
· Proven track record in sales growth, business development, and partnership management.
· Strong commercial and analytical skills with the ability to set and deliver on ambitious KPIs.
· Experience managing product categories, merchandising strategies, and supplier relationships.
· Knowledge of sustainable materials, certifications, and supply chain practices.
· Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
· Passion for delivering high-quality, customer-focused solutions.
