About the role

We are seeking a passionate and talented Interior Designer's Assistant to join our dynamic team at Furniture Fitouts in Belmont, WA 6104. This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to contribute your skills and creativity to our residential staging and interior design projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Picking and packing linen, decor, and other small household items ready for dispatch

  • Cleaning & tidying in the warehouse

  • Unpacking of household items into properties

  • Making the beds, putting kitchen items away, tuning in the TV, setting the clock on the radio etc.
  • Preparing the property for photography - cleaning the furniture, vacuuming floors, ironing of quilt covers etc.
  • Taking photos of properties prior to installation, and after installation
  • Purchasing items from various retail stores around the Perth area
  • Overseeing sub-contractors on site

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar interior design assistant or support role
  • A keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients and tradespeople
  • Must have current Australian Automatic Drivers Licence as a minimum
