About The Role:

Are you passionate about delivering outstanding administrative support and exceptional customer service? Join our Operations Support Team based at the Beverley Depot, where you'll play a key role in supporting the City Operations Division. We're looking for someone who takes pride in providing proactive, caring, and efficient administrative support while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Data entry of job costing timesheets and reporting to meet deadlines
  • Generating customer requests and work orders, ensuring timely allocation
  • Invoice and purchase order processing in line with policies and procedures
  • Supporting onboarding and security administration for new staff
  • Coordinating stationery ordering and ensuring adequate stock levels
  • Providing backup support to Beverley Store and Nursery operations
  • Responding professionally to all enquiries - phone, face-to-face, and written
  • Contributing to a range of administrative and project-related tasks to support the Division
  • Playing an active role in continuous improvement and helping to build a positive, collaborative team culture.

  • Manages competing priorities and meets deadlines
  • Understands operations-based work environments (Council experience desirable)
  • Holds a current car licence (essential)
  • Accredited customer service training and forklift licence (desirable).

The Operations Support team supports our City Operations division to ensure our City is maintained in an efficient and effective manner. The team is committed to continuous improvement of administrative processes, procedures and practices to ensure support services meet the diverse and changing needs of our organisation's operational teams. Operations Support maintains a strong focus on safety, innovation, operational excellence and customer experience. 

The Detail:

The position is offered on a full-time, fixed term (until 14 June 2026) basis and is classified at Level 3, with a starting salary of $85,929.52 per annum + Super + Annual Leave Loading.
