**The Role**

The ICT Manager position is a hands-on role responsible for the smooth operation of ICT services and Cyber Security and ensuring an appropriate technical support framework is in place to support Fleet’s business objectives.

Key functions of the role include providing guidance and leadership to direct reports, monitoring and delivering ICT support and internal customer service provided to business units, developing and updating ICT policies and procedures and overseeing Fleet’s overall ICT infrastructure including cyber security.

The role reports to Head of Operations and will be responsible for organically growing the department to meet the demands of the business.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage a small IT and Cyber Security function, ensuring alignment of IT strategies with business goals and objectives and optimal delivery of IT services.
- Providing remote and onsite technical support to all end users including support and maintenance of software, desktop, server, hardware and access to the network.
- Creating, updating / maintaining IT and cyber security documentation, processes and procedures.
- Own and drive Fleet’s IT infrastructure and posture across the organisation.
- Negotiate and manage vendors for service and hardware
- Grow and manage a small team

**Key Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an ICT Leadership position and proven experience managing ICT infrastructure and services
- Excellent communication skills, customer service skills, coupled with effective troubleshooting skills.
- Innovative thinking and problem-solving solutions.
- An understanding of Linux server administration (advantageous)
- Understanding of Windows server administration
- Experience with Google Workspaces and Microsoft 365 and the administration and support of these environments
- Experience using a Helpdesk ticketing system eg. Jira
- Experience with Gitlab (user management and repository management).
- Familiarity with AWS security & infrastructure (advantageous)
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a larger team
- Experience with using and operating an ISMS
- Experience with creating managing and enforcing IT policies
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to connect with different stakeholders on a collaborative level
- Pragmatic problem solver with a customer service mindset
