New Farm Seafood is launching an exciting dine-in, takeaway, and bar experience, blending fresh seafood with exceptional hospitality. We're seeking a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our operations, drive customer delight, and shape the future of our bustling spot. Report to owner-operator Michael Hatzifotis, and collaborate with our Fresh Manager, Marketing & Admin Manager, and Head Chef to create unforgettable moments.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee front- and back-of-house operations for seamless dine-in, takeaway, and bar service.
  • Lead a motivated team: hire, schedule, train, and appraise staff while fostering a positive, high-energy culture.
  • Deliver top-tier customer service, handle feedback swiftly, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.
  • Drive revenue and efficiency: manage stock, costs, wine lists, and promotions; monitor quality, cleanliness, and daily procedures using tools like Order Mate, Now Book It, and Restoke.
  • Innovate and promote: Suggest menu tweaks, events, and marketing ideas to build our local buzz and loyal following.
  • Jump in where needed— from customer check-ins to assisting our market team during peak times.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven leadership in fast-paced restaurant environments, with strong motivational and people skills.
  • Hands-on knowledge of menus, ingredients, beverages, and software (Order Mate, Now Book It, Restoke).
  • Passion for quality service, detail-oriented mindset, and ability to thrive in a new venture.
  • Food safety certification and a crisp, professional demeanour.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Package: $90,000 p.a. gross (including superannuation), weekly pay with detailed payslips.
  • Work-Life Balance: approximately 5 days (including Fri/Sat nights), with two consecutive days off and flexibility for planning/ordering.
  • Perks: 4 weeks annual leave, sick/personal leave per Fair Work standards, tips per NFS protocol, and a supportive, growth-focused environment.
  • Contract: Full-time with 3-month probation and annual reviews—room to shine and advance.
