About the role

Pier 88 Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team in Manly, Queensland. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, ensuring a consistently exceptional dining experience for our customers. This is a full-time role with opportunities for career progression within our growing hospitality group.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage all restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory, and budgeting
  • Oversee and coordinate the work of kitchen, wait, and front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs to maintain high standards of service and food quality
  • Monitor and analyse restaurant performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused work environment
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective promotional strategies

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a restaurant manager or similar leadership role
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability in a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong financial management and budgeting skills
  • Thorough understanding of food safety, liquor licensing, and other relevant regulations
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience
