Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial accounts and tax returns with precision and accuracy.
  • Manage the preparation of activity statements, SMSF fund reporting, and tax obligations.
  • Assist in delivering high-quality professional services to clients, offering guidance and support to junior staff.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  • Reconciliation and preparation of work papers.
  • Complete compliance work as required, working closely with the Team Leader.
  • Liaise with clients on all relevant matters, providing exceptional service and building strong relationships.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business services/tax within Public Practice.
  • Experience with accounting and taxation software such as Xero, MYOB, and XPM.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Technical proficiency and sound knowledge of compliance, with competency in using Microsoft Excel.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to learn and develop.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to grow as part of a progressive, supportive team.
