Be part of Ascott Australia's bold journey to grow from 8 to 30 hotels by 2030. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team at Ascott Australia's corporate office in the vibrant city-fringe location of Collingwood.

In this role you shall be responsible for:

  • Managing the billing system and ensuring timely generation of invoices and account statements.
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies, irregularities, and customer inquiries regarding billing and payments.
  • Processing and reconciling customer payments, including cheque, direct deposit, and credit card transactions.
  • Maintaining accurate Accounts Receivable ledgers, files, and records, and preparing regular account reconciliations.
  • Supporting credit control activities by auditing customer accounts and following up on outstanding payments.

Ideally, you must have:

  • A qualification in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Mathematics, or relevant work experience in accounts receivable.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with internal staff and external customers.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and a sound understanding of invoicing and accounts receivable processes.
