The Company

Our client is one of Melbourne's most sort after employers. With offices based in the CBD they are in need of an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to start immediately on a temporary 2-month contract to support with an ever-increasing workload.
You will be joining a supportive and high performing team, in a business has won numerous awards & prides itself on its inclusive culture.
The ability to work autonomously and without supervision will be paramount, as the position will offer hybrid working.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager your duties will include:

* Managing accounts receivable and banking processes
* Timely and accurate processing sales invoices
* Debtor reconciliations and reporting.
* Credit control, managing outstanding receivables.
* Bank reconciliations
* Cash flow reporting
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns for claims.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum 12 months' experience in a high-volume transactional environment. You will be systems savvy and possess an intermediate level of Excel skills (pivot tables/ V-lookups).

Excellent communication skills, a customer service approach, and the ability to work to deadlines is also required.
