Join our client's dynamic Human Resources team within the South Coast Region, one of the fastest-growing regions in Queensland. Our region covers 6,587 km², including major highways and state-controlled roads, and is responsible for planning, design, construction, and maintenance of road infrastructure.
As a Human Resource Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our region's HR functions. You will provide expert advice, drive recruitment excellence, and support our leadership and organisational culture initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Advising stakeholders on performance management and discipline issues.
- Conducting research and analysis of HR legislation and policies.
- Delivering presentations and information sessions on HR initiatives.
- Supporting leadership capability, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Participating in recruitment processes, including pre-employment screening and onboarding.
- Providing HR management advice and project support on complex issues.
- Producing professional documents such as business cases, briefing notes, and statistical reports.
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
- Contributing to best practices and quality standards in the HR team.
- Developing and maintaining work instructions, FAQs, and processes for key tasks.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current holder of a Class C driver's licence.
- Experience providing HR management services and advice in an operational environment.
- Desirable requirement - Relevant qualification in Human Resources or Business Management.
