Principal Advisor Human Resources

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality consultancy and advisory services to all levels of management on human resource management issues.
  • Work collaboratively with the broader portfolio to improve people management practices and drive, shape, and influence the values and behaviours of a commercial business.
How you will be assessed

The ideal applicant will possess the following key capabilities:

  • Diverse experience in a HR generalist role, particularly at a senior advisory level in an industrialised and multidisciplinary environment and in developing and delivering robust HR initiatives and comprehensive advice.
  • Proven experience in complex end-to-end case management which delivers on organisational priorities and values.
  • Proven experience in coaching and supporting managers on human resource management strategies, including but not limited to performance management, complaints management, and workforce change.
  • Demonstrated high-level communication, negotiation, influencing, and listening skills used in liaison with senior officers, unions, and employees of all levels.
  • Proven flexibility, responsiveness, and the initiative, attitude, and ability to thrive within a dynamic, challenging, and changing environment.
Highly Desirable Requirements

Tertiary qualifications and extensive experience in Human Resources, business, organisational development, or related disciplines will be considered favourably.
