**About our client**
Kingston Human Capital has been engaged by one of Queensland's highly respected Government Departments to assist in sourcing for
**a skilled and reliable Communications Advisor **to join their team.
As the
**Communications Advisor**, you will
- Provide advice on communications strategies for difficult stakeholders and on critical conversations with Project Directors, managers, and team members.
- Prepare project communications material, such as media releases, ministerial briefings, newsletters, flyers, display materials, and speech notes.
- Manage crisis and reputation management strategies and identify key risks associated with them.
- Implement communication strategies, activities, procedures, and policies to achieve the project's objectives.
- Ensure compliance with departmental and regional policies, legislation (including WH&S), and governance requirements.

- Great knowledge of governance and an understanding of project-based environments especially in the infrastructure industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication with outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
- Can work on multiple projects and a fast-paced environment
- Holder of Class C driver's licence and a Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card) or have the ability to obtain within the period of 6 months from commencement
