Synchro Partners is partnering with a leading organisation within FMCG/warehousing space, who are embarking on a major transformation of its warehousing and inventory departments, this includes technology implementation and operation transformation. We seek a seek an Inventory operations manager/consultant

This role revolves around implementing new technologies and also reviewing operations in line with best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a bridge between operations and IT, supporting user needs while enabling business transformation.
  • Translate operational warehouse and logistics needs into system requirements and configurations.
  • Consult to business operations team on process change management
  • Work across business and technical teams to ensure the solution supports productivity, uptime, and supply chain accuracy.
  • Look at implementing best practice i.e new ways of operating – just in time inventory etc.
  • Contribute to change management, training, testing, and go-live support.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience implementing or transforming warehouse inventory systems (e.g., SAP EWM, Infor, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory tracking, and materials/inventory flows.
  • Clear experience in operations and transformation
  • Clear experience in technology implementations
  • Practical experience in FMCG, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with vendor management
