Who are we looking for?
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality & Safety professional to join our team. If you are a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong leadership and compliance expertise, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing aviation company.

In This Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Leading and aligning Quality, Safety, and Business Management Systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies, ISO9001, and other industry certifications.
  • Developing, reviewing, and maintaining SOPs, SOGs, safety documentation, and training materials.
  • Coordinating incident and accident investigations.
  • Supervising the QA & Safety team.
  • Maintaining hazard and risk registers and reporting safety-related data.
  • Conducting audits of maintenance facilities, contractors, and internal systems.
  • Formulating and implementing QA policies to support aviation approvals and certifications.
  • Promoting quality and safety awareness across the company.
  • Travelling domestically and internationally as required.

The essential requirements

  • Formal qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in QA and Safety, preferably in an aviation environment.
  • Team management experience in a Safety & Quality setting.
  • Quality audit qualifications and/or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of CASA and/or FAA regulations and aviation quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to align QAS principles with business outcomes.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to support business objectives.
  • Adaptability, resilience, and a hands-on leadership style.
