HR / Payroll Assistant – ASO3 

State Government Agency Contract

Adelaide CBD | Full time, 6 months | $43–$46 per hour

We are seeking a Business Administration Officer to provide administrative and financial support to a busy branch based in the Adelaide CBD. This is a six-month full time contract with potential for extension.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial tasks such as journals, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable and reporting
  • Assisting with audits, investigations and project work
  • Preparing documents, taking minutes and supporting branch operations
  • Liaising with internal teams, external contractors and stakeholders

What we're looking for:

  • Administration and finance experience in a large or complex organisation
  • Strong skills with accounting systems and office software
  • Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work independently
  • Clear communication skills and a practical, problem-solving approach

  • Adelaide CBD location
  • Full time, six-month contract
  • $43–$46 per hour plus super
