The Project Officer supports the Project Management team in managing and delivering all projects from the very beginning through to their completion. This includes the responsibilities of: project planning, scheduling, resourcing, and communication among team members, clients, and stakeholders. The Project Officer assumes primary responsibility for timely completion of all project activities in scope and aligned with organizational objectives. The role is expected to follow the Vocus guidelines of hybrid ways of working.

- Project Planning & Scheduling
- Team Support & Communication
- Documentation & Reporting
- Identify potential project risks and issues and work with FES management team to develop mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate the allocation of resources, including human resources, materials, and equipment.
- Assist with project reviews and audits as needed to ensure compliance with organizational standards and guidelines
- Assist with the procurement of supplies and services necessary for project execution.
- Handle general administrative tasks related to project operations, including filing, tracking, and documentation.
What you'll bring to this role
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- You have an engineering background (Telecommunication experience is a plus)
- Ability to create report with Excel
- Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
- You are a self-driven, proactive person and a quick learner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience to navigate the dynamic and complex customer landscape effectively.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative and supportive, with a strong ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other project management certifications (e.g., Prince 2, Agile) would be ideal
