Job Description
About The Role
We are currently seeking a
Workshop Manager
to lead operations and drive performance within our workshop, with a focus across our
Atlas Copco
and
Ditchwitch
product lines. You'll oversee a team of workshop technicians, apprentices, and admin staff ensuring safety, service excellence, and smooth day-to-day operations.

This is a key leadership role within a rapidly growing business offering long-term career potential and genuine opportunities to make your mark.

Key Accountabilities

  • Champion a strong safety culture and ensure all safety compliance requirements are met.
  • Manage workshop operations, staff performance, and resourcing levels.
  • Provide hands-on support during busy periods and when technical expertise is required.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and technical support across the Atlas Copco and Ditch Witch product lines.
  • Oversee job allocation, workflow, and accurate completion of service reports, timesheets, and related documentation.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Role Requirements And Qualifications

  • Trade-qualified in a mechanical or related field.
  • Proven experience leading teams in a workshop or field service environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Clear, confident communication skills with a calm, professional approach under pressure.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite and general workshop systems.
  • Highly reliable with strong attention to detail and integrity.
