About the Role

PremiAir has a permanent full-time position available for a hardworking and reliable Forklift Driver/Delivery Driver to join our busy team in our Brisbane (Darra) depot.

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the main responsibility of the role is to prepare equipment ready for hire and deliver/collect equipment as required.

Duties

The main duties and responsibilities of the role include:

  • Delivery and collection of hire equipment
  • Washing of returned equipment and preparation ready for hire
  • Keeping the yard clean and arranging equipment as needed
  • Ensure hire returns are refuelled (if required) and entered on fuel log
  • Processing of equipment returns and assist with off hires (refuel / hours used)
  • Assisting workshop staff with servicing and repairs
  • May be required to work on a rotating after-hours, on-call roster
  • Other appropriate duties as directed

Skills and Experience

You must possess a strong sense of urgency with an "I will make it happen" attitude to get the job done. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • A valid Forklift licence is required
  • MR or HR license is preferred but not essential to be considered for this position
  • Able to follow instructions and work unsupervised and pays attention to detail
  • Is self-motivated and takes pride in their work and has a great work ethic
  • Is reliable and punctual and has excellent work ethics
  • Is focused on providing the best service to our customers
  • Is capable of performing physical activities
  • Can work overtime, including weekends when needed

Previous experience and success in a similar role will be highly regarded, however, the successful applicants will be appointed primarily based on attitude and the desire to assist the business in the next phase of growth.
