**STOREPERSON (AUS)**

**Brief**:
We require a highly organised Storeperson to assemble, receive, receipt, handle and dispatch all stock coming into, or out of our warehouse.

**The Role**:
Based in our Darra workshop in Brisbane, you will be responsible for managing all functions of stock and equipment. As well as tracking and maintaining inventory records, your role will also require basic assembly, co-ordinating freight, and liaising on a daily basis with internal and external key contacts to ensure work is delivered on time, to our quality specifications and requirements. You will ideally have experience in an engineering production environment and a basic knowledge of hydraulics.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Co-ordinate freight logistics - receive, receipt, handle and dispatch goods coming into, or going out of our warehouse
- unload goods and check them against purchase order
- enter details of received packing slips, requisitions into DCL system
- complete orders and kitsets by selecting goods from shelves and checking them off appropriate lists
- package and send out completed orders to customers
- Catalogue or label items with storage details
- Place product in allocated area (in bins, on racks, or other)
- Complete monthly stocktake (count and record the number of items in warehouse)
- Move heavy packages using forklift machinery
- Basic assembly when required to help with through put of work through the workshop
- Keep the work area neat and tidy
- Work to and achieve all KPI’s

**Desired competencies, personal skills and experience**:

- Storeperson experience working in an engineering production environment
- Assembly skills
- Basic understanding of hydraulics
- Forklift licence
- Able to cope with the physical demands of the job
- Good memory and organisational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Agile, responsive and good under pressure
- Good written, verbal and client facing communication skills
- A team orientated individual who is consistent in nature, and focused on outcomes
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Proven ability to be able to work effectively on their own
- A good work ethic and a “get on with it” attitude
- Absolutely trustworthy and dependable

**Salary**: $28.50 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Darra, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (required)
