The Role:
As the Brand Marketing Manager for Hype DC Australia and New Zealand, you will lead the development and execution of integrated content strategies across key marketing channels - including Retail, social media, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and be the brand's POC for Marketing Brand Partners.
Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing & Digital, your role is pivotal in ensuring brand consistency and resonance across diverse platforms. Additionally, you will support the planning and execution of brand events aligning them with Hype DC brand objectives in the region.
This role is a parental leave cover for 8 months.
Your key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Content Development & Creative Collaboration:
- Plan and brief local content creation requirements to the internal creative agency, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Manage the Brand Marketing Coordinator and fulfill all aspects of content production, including photoshoots and video content.
- Manage fortnightly content approvals with the HOM, ensuring timely delivery to meet local campaign deadlines.
- Work back with the HOM and key Brand Partner marketing teams, ensuring calendar content requirements are developed and delivered to the channel leads.
Paid & Organic Social Media
- Develop and brief paid social media campaigns across Australia and New Zealand to the internal performance specialist.
- Monitor, analyse, and report monthly campaign performance metrics to inform and enhance future marketing strategies.
- Create and implement an organic social media strategy (Meta + TikTok platforms), ensuring consistent brand messaging and audience engagement.
Influencer Marketing & Public Relations
- Implement the Key Opinion Leader (KOL) strategy in partnership with an external agency to achieve campaign goals.
- Work and brief PR agency to enhance brand and product sentiment and amplify these collaborations across all relevant communication channels to maximize impact and reach.
Retail Marketing & Visual Merchandising:
- Manage the Retail Marketing Specialist to provide campaign content for the store network.
- Deliver tailored campaign and promotion content for the eCommerce & CRM teams.
- Coordinate showroom and office POP updates as needed to maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints.
Stakeholder & Agency Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including internal agencies, Retail, Buying, Merchandise Planning, and E-commerce teams.
- External Brand Partner marketing and key account managers, strong negotiation and Hype DC lead approach.
- Manage external agencies, including Influencer, PR, and Print partners, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and efficient execution of campaigns.
Budget & Administrative Responsibilities:
- Oversee marketing budget updates and manage Purchase Order processes to ensure financial accountability.
- Market Research & Trend Anticipation: Proactively conduct research to foresee industry shifts, ensuring marketing tactics remain innovative and the brand maintains a competitive edge in a rapidly evolving marketplace.
- Brand Custodian: Ensure creative execution and tone of voice align with Branding guidelines.
- Handle ad hoc business requests, including the planning and execution of events and partnership activations, as required.
What we are looking for:
- 3+ years' experience in Marketing Management (Retail, Agency background is Highly regarded)
- Strong familiarity with end-to-end content creation.
- Ability to interpret global guidelines with a local lens.
- Up to date with the social media landscape with solid comprehension of social media metrics.
- Trade Marketing or instore POP experience.
- Agency Management skills
- Good presentation skills
- People leadership experience
- IT Skills: Microsoft office (Very good), Adobe suite.
