
Marketing Specialist

Having recently repositioned and elevated our brand expressions for Yarra Trail, Black Pepper and Marco Polo, we're seeking a Marketing Specialist to cultivate our brand stories through considered storytelling and compelling content. As the channel lead for social, influencer, PR and events, you'll have end to end ownership of these pivotal channels to fuel brand heat and drive commercial success. This role is an opportunity to steer the strategic direction and creative execution of a portfolio of brands that's on the precipice of their next stage of growth.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Social Media Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute seasonal social media strategies focused on growing audiences and engagement, including content planning, production, creative development, community management and performance analysis. - Influencer Strategy & Execution:
Design and deliver influencer strategies that drive brand advocacy and social proofing, managing talent discovery, partnerships, events, and reporting. - PR Strategy & Execution:
Partner with agencies to craft impactful PR strategies that build strong media presence, manage high-impact events, and measure outcomes. - Consumer Events:
Collaborate with Retail teams to produce engaging customer events, managing everything from supplier partnerships to budgets and post-event insights. - Competitor Analysis & Market Research:
Keep a close eye on industry trends and competitor activity, transforming insights into actionable recommendations. - Seasonal Marketing Strategy & Planning:
Support the Marketing Manager in developing and executing seasonal marketing plans, product launches, store openings, activations, and collaborations.
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 5 years' marketing experience, ideally within retail, fashion, or consumer goods.
- Proven expertise in content marketing, PR, influencer marketing, and event management in fast-paced environments.
- Strong track record of delivering multi-channel marketing initiatives that drive measurable growth and brand awareness.
- A creative eye with a deep understanding of brand storytelling and visual identity.
- Skilled relationship builder and collaborator, with exceptional communication skills.
- Strategic thinker who thrives under pressure and navigates challenges with resilience and agility.
