About The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at Mossman as our Social Media & Marketing Manager. In this full-time, in-office role based in Port Melbourne, VIC, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's social media strategy to drive brand awareness, lead generation and customer engagement. Within the role of Social Media and Marketing Manager you will combine your strengths of content planning and creation along with a thorough understanding of data analysis and strategic decision making. Reporting to the Directors, you will play a key role in shaping Mossman's digital presence and positioning within the broader marketing and communications landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and produce an engaging social media content plan and strategy across all social media platforms in line with brand tone of voice and objectives.
  • Manage and mentor your team to execute planned activity and achieve desired results in line with company standards.
  • Create, produce and edit engaging and unique in-house photo and video content to be used across all social media platforms.
  • Maintain and continually build Mossman's social and marketing calendar and media list.
  • Manage the Mossman influencer and gifting program ensuring regular features from new and existing talent across Instagram and TikTok, keeping in line with the brand's aesthetic and tone of voice.
  • Compile and present weekly analysis and reporting to improve practices, identify trends and trial new initiatives and ensure key targets and objectives are achieved.
  • Utilise data and analytics to uncover growth opportunities and refine content strategy accordingly.
  • Uphold and evolve the Mossman visual identity and tone of voice across all platforms.
  • Develop monthly and seasonal reporting to summarise brand campaigns and to enhance decision making accuracy.
  • Reporting to the Directors and working alongside the wider team to provide consistency between the Mossman website, eDMs and Social Media.
  • Continually research new trends, competitors and strategies and brainstorm innovative and new ideas to drive success and achieve set KPI's.
  • Manage the annual marketing budget to achieve KPI's.
  • Manage and liaise with external PR agency to build strategies and global expansion.
  • Develop and pitch upcoming activities to media to secure brand placement and awareness in relevant media outlets.

Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years experience within a similar management role.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing social media and marketing strategies and content calendars.
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis.
  • Extensive experience in directing, filming, editing and publishing social media content across platforms such as Meta and TikTok.
  • Exceptional creative vision and strong aesthetic sense within the fashion and lifestyle space with a high attention to detail, strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills and copy writing ability.
  • Proficiency in the use of Adobe Photoshop/Canva, Planoly and Microsoft Office.
  • A tertiary qualification in social media and/or marketing is advantageous, but not essential.
