ADMIN/RECEPTIONIST FEMALES ONLY
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Hope Within Disability team as a part-time NDIS Admin/Receptionist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative and reception support to our NDIS services, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. The role is based in our Hinckinbrook, NSW office.
Key responsibilities
- Welcoming and assisting clients, participants and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answering incoming phone calls and directing enquiries appropriately
- Maintaining detailed client records and case notes in our database
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments for our NDIS support teams
- Providing administrative support such as filing, photocopying and data entry
- Assisting with the preparation of reports and other documentation as required
- Ensuring the reception area and communal spaces are kept tidy and well-presented
What we're looking for
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities with an eye for detail
- Proficient in using standard office software such as Microsoft Office
- Experience in a similar administrative or receptionist role, ideally within the disability services or healthcare sector
- Minimum 1-2 years of administrative or receptionist experience required
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting people with disability
- NDIS Worker Screening Check must be obtained within 3 months of commencement
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including some evenings and weekends
- Australian work rights required for this position

MINIMUM 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN ADMINISTRATIVE ROLES, WITHIN THE NDIS SECTOR.
• STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF NDIS PROCESSES AND PROCEDURES IS AN ADVANTAGE.
• EXCELLENT ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS WITH THE ABILITY TO MANAGE MULTIPLE TASKS SIMULTANEOUSLY.
• HIGH ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND ACCURACY IN RECORD-KEEPING.
• STRONG WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
• PROFICIENT IN MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE (WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK, ETC.).
• ABILITY TO MAINTAIN CONFIDENTIALITY AND DEMONSTRATE PROFESSIONALISM AT ALL TIMES.
• STRONG PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS AND ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY OR AS PART OF A TEAM.
