We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join our team at St Luke's Clinic. This role is ideal for someone passionate about healthcare, improving clinical practice, and enhancing the overall patient experience. This is a part-time position, working Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As a Clinic Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in the smooth day-to-day operation of St Luke's Physiotherapy and Outpatient Rehabilitation programs, as well as provide administrative support for specialist consulting sessions.
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Answering/responding to telephone and email enquiries
- Greeting of patients and assist with the physiotherapy appointment diary
- Providing administrative support to Medical Practitioners and Physiotherapists
- Invoicing and receipting patients (HICAPS, WorkCover, CTP, DVA, Medicare)
- Liaising with other healthcare team members
Essential criteria:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- High attention to detail;
- A 'hands on' enthusiastic approach;
- Familiarity with the Genie Solutions software is desirable;
- Intermediate Microsoft software skills (Word, Excel and Outlook);
- Sound level of verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
