Apsis VR is Melbourne's premier provider of VR experiences for corporates, schools, and entertainment venues. With a proven track record and 4.9+ Google rating, we are expanding into new markets and seeking a results-driven Event Sales Leader to drive growth across corporate, education, and government sectors.

This role is perfect for a high-energy sales professional with a well-established Melbourne network and a proven ability to close deals in events, functions, or hospitality.

This has a base pay plus uncapped commission.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive demand for VR at corporate events, exhibitions, schools, and council activations.
  • Leverage your existing network and generate new leads through outreach, events, and partnerships.
  • Build proposals, pitch to clients, and convert opportunities into recurring revenue.
  • Secure long-term commitments with corporates, schools, councils, and cultural venues (museums, libraries, galleries, hotels).
  • Represent Apsis VR at exhibitions, conventions, and local government events.
  • Work with operations and marketing to deliver high-impact activations.
  • Manage client relationships, contracts, and CRM to ensure pipeline growth.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven network in one or more of the following:
  • Corporate marketing & HR teams
  • School leaders and principals
  • Event planners & exhibition organisers
  • Local government & council event teams
  • Melbourne Convention Centre connections
  • Minimum 2 years' sales experience in events, functions, or hospitality.
  • Strong track record of hitting revenue targets.
  • Outgoing, confident, and persuasive communicator.
  • Skilled negotiator and deal-closer with commercial acumen.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently.
  • Experience with CRM and event management systems (preferred).

Job Type: Part-time

Base Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
