**Job Description**:
We are looking for a passionate and driven Conference & Event Manager who enjoys creating exceptional customer experiences to join our team on a full-time basis.
In this role you will be responsible for dealing with all types of businesses and audiences who need to arrange a conference or event at Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel. From start to finish you will be involved with the sales process from the initial quote, contract and coordinating the event.
**The role includes the following responsibilities**:
- Plan events from start to finish for our clients.
- Maintain outstanding client relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Building relationships with preferred suppliers.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities.
- Attend relevant conferences and trade shows.
- Provide outstanding customer service to our clients at all times.
Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel is discreetly positioned in the heart of Melbourne’s central business precinct and it is the perfect venue for events. It offers complete flexibility for any conference, dinner or meeting with a range of conference rooms to choose from.
**Qualifications**:
- Event planning experience
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to solve problems independently
- Effective time management skills
