We currently have an opportunity for a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Administrator to join the National People & Development team based in our Sydney office on an 12 month parental leave cover. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to kick-start your HR career in a collaborative national team. As a valued member of the HR Operations team, this role will be responsible for providing proactive, high quality administrative support across a number of HR operations.
The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows:
Responsibilities
- Management of the HR administration inboxes
- Action all administrative tasks relating to employment changes across the employee lifecycle, drafting of basic correspondence and reviewing paperwork.
- Assist with the on boarding process from offer acceptance and contract generation to commencement, ensuring all relevant checks and induction materials are completed.
- Support the national HR team with HR administration, system, process and auditing projects as required.
- Perform physical and electronic filing, auditing, archiving and ensuring all registers and reports are up-to-date.
- Processing of expenses, liaising with our finance and payroll teams on related items.
- Ad-hoc HR administration requests.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months administration experience ideally gained with a People & Development function.
- Tertiary HR Qualifications (or working towards them).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with relevant software systems i.e. Microsoft office, outlook etc.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information and maintain confidentiality.
