About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Electronics Enthusiast to step into a purchasing and procurement role. You'll be responsible for sourcing and managing the supply of electronic components and materials critical to our production line. Procurement activities include overseas suppliers, a thorough understanding of import clearance, duties and taxes is required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Source and procure electronic components, tools, and consumables.
  • Interpret technical drawings and BOMs to ensure accurate ordering.
  • Liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production to maintain stock availability.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with internal processes.

Skills & Experience

  • Enthusiast, Trade qualification or diploma in Electronics or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a purchasing/procurement role within electronics or manufacturing including overseas imports.
  • Strong understanding of electronic components and technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
