**The Role & Project**

Are you a talented Purchasing Officer with experience procuring HME equipment, spares and consumables seeking an opportunity to work in a dynamic business that puts “People First”. In this role you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the effectiveness of how MACA delivers services to our valued clients.

The Purchasing Officer is responsible for procuring OEM and Non-OEM equipment, spares, and consumables in support of our HME fleet of assets. The Purchasing Officer will liaise with MACA key stakeholders, suppliers, and dispatch to ensure cost effective and “just in time” delivery.

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:

- Have 2+ years’ experience in a purchasing role, procuring mining related items and services.
- Preference to have experience in a purchasing officer role supporting mining operations.
- PRONTO experience highly desired.
- Experience in procure to pay (P2P):

- Seek request for quotations.
- Check purchase requisitions for approvals and appropriate authority limits.
- Enter data into the purchasing system accurately and in a timely manner.
- Receiving/updating invoices for purchase orders
- Process purchase orders resulting from requisitions.
- Monitor and resolve all reported discrepancies, overage, shortage, and damaged goods and or materials.
- Manage request for credits.
- Administer warranty claims and input warranty terms into Pronto.
- Possess Australian “C” class drivers’ licence.
