**The Company**

Based in Welshpool, this business is a well-known organization with a strong commitment to developing a positive and high performing culture, which offers staff a fun and flexible working environment.

Due to leave, they require additional temporary support in the finance team for a minimum of 2 months.

This position is to start immediately, and you must reside within Western Australia to be considered.

**The Role**

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager the role will include but not be limited to:

- Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and perform weekly and monthly payment runs
- Reconcile vendor statements and address any issues or discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records
- Assist with month-end closing activities
- Past experience as an Accounts Payable Officer, from a high volume environment
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Large systems knowledge and intermediate Excel skills highly advantageous
