About the Company

Specialising in delivering Supply Chain solutions to tier one companies, this global leader continues to be at the forefront when it comes to logistics and transport services. Working closely with commercial operations you will provide finance business partnering to help drive productivity and cost saving initiatives throughout the division.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Business Controller you will be responsible for:

  • Provision of monthly profit and loss commentary to the senior management team including variance analysis by cost category, site and customer.
  • Driving productivity and cost saving initiatives throughout the division.
  • Attribute to the growth strategy by implementing and driving accurate and timely reporting, including monthly financial reporting, forecasts and yearly budgets.
  • Monthly reviews with site management to review financial, productivity and general operational efficiencies and make recommendations to lift performance as required.
  • Support Request for Quotations and provide financial analysis.
  • Involved in performance reviews with all major suppliers.
  • Monthly review of overhead costs covering different cost centres and sites.
  • Own the month‑end close processes
  • Support the Senior Business Controller with ad hoc projects

About You

  • CPA/CA qualifications
  • Previous experience working in supply chain industry with a deep understanding of 3PL arrangements
  • Advanced skills in reporting and analyses including advanced Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact at all levels
  • Own vehicle and current driver's license as you will be required to visit the various sites that form part of this portfolio
  • Available for a prompt start and able to commit to the term of the project
