Job Description
As the HR Business Partner Lead, you'll work closely with senior leaders to deliver strategic workforce solutions that align with business goals. You'll guide a team of HR professionals, providing expert advice on organisational change, employee relations, talent, and performance development. In this role, you'll act as a trusted advisor, help shape our approach to effective people partnering and ensure consistent, high-quality HR delivery across the organisation. You'll also use data and insights to drive continuous improvement and create lasting value through people.
You will:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders on workforce, performance, and organisational matters.
- Lead and coach HR Business Partner consultants to ensure quality delivery of HR partnering services.
- Oversee strategic workforce and succession planning activities across business units.
- Provide expert support and oversight on complex employee relations matters, partnering with legal as required.
- Guide the implementation of performance development initiatives, including goal setting, feedback, and capability planning.
- Manage the remuneration framework and annual review.
- Drive organisational change initiatives, including structural reviews, consultation, and transition planning.
- Lead or support the resolution of complex people issues and escalate risks appropriately.
- Ensure alignment of HR practices with legislative obligations, policies, and business goals.
- Analyse people data and workforce trends to inform planning, decision-making, and continuous improvement.

Your background will demonstrate:
- Demonstrated experience in senior HR business partnering or advisory roles
- Demonstrated expertise in workforce planning, succession, performance development, and employee relations
- Proven ability to lead and coach others in the delivery of HR services
- Strong change leadership and organisational development capabilities
- Ability to develop effective relationships with senior leaders and influence strategic outcomes
- Excellent judgement and risk awareness in complex people matters
- Sound knowledge of employment legislation, industrial frameworks, and organisational policy
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret workforce data and trends
- Resilient, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field or significant experience, providing strategic and tactical advice to senior leaders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to adapt communication and messaging based on audience.
- Relevant ER/IR experience and experience in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information.
- Ability to manage multiple, complex issues and prioritise projects concurrently.
