Providing services in the civil and mining sectors and specialising in infrastructure, concrete construction, and mining services, AWCON has been involved in large-scale construction projects ranging from $1 million to $100 million in value while partnering with Tier 1 clients across Australia.

This opportunity offers a Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) arrangement on a 2:1 roster, providing a balance of dynamic work and scheduled time off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate vac truck equipment for site clean-up, and liquid/slurry removal.
  • Work safely around underground utilities (water, sewer, gas, electrical).
  • Complete pre-start inspections, operate machinery safely, and carry out post-operation checks.
  • Safely load, transport, and dispose of debris, soil, and liquid materials.
  • Monitor equipment performance and report any maintenance needs.
  • Keep the truck, tools, and equipment clean and work-ready.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew, and clients to ensure safe and timely project delivery.
  • Follow all safety procedures, vehicle standards, and environmental regulations.

About you:

  • Hold a valid HR or HC class driver's licence
  • Up to date vaccinations (Twinrix Hep B)
  • Strong committment to site safety protocols and environmental regulations
  • Experience operating a vac truck
  • Hold a current White card
