About us:

Agile Mining Services is a privately owned company providing specialist technical, mining, and mineral processing services to the South Australian iron ore industry. Our operations are located near Coober Pedy.

About the opportunity:

We are seeking experienced Haul Truck Operators to join our production crew.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Haul material based on requirements/specifications as directed by the supervisor in accordance with company policies, procedures
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions in
  • Transport material to and from specified locations
  • Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
  • Commitment to abide by strict WHS requirements
  • Drive and operate the truck in a safe and compliant manner in all weather conditions

Essential:

  • Haul Truck experience in open pit mines
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and hazard/ incident reporting
  • Ability to present fit for work with a zero-blood alcohol reading
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Be reliable

Desirable requirements:

The successful applicant will be required to:

  • Be site based on 2/2 roster
  • Hold a full driver's licence
  • This role may be required to work at other sites and operations
  • Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
