The opportunity

We are a leading civil construction company seeking an experienced and reliable Tipper Truck Driver to join our team in Wingfield area. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction operations by safely and efficiently transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to be part of an innovative, hardworking organisation.

Key responsibilities

  1. Operate a 8 ton tipper truck to and from construction sites
  2. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good condition
  3. Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure the safe transport of goods
  4. Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles as required
  5. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, hours worked, and any vehicle incidents or issues
  6. Collaborate with the wider construction team to ensure efficient and timely delivery of materials and equipment

What we're looking for

  1. A valid MR driver's licence and extensive experience operating heavy vehicles in a construction or logistics environment
  2. Strong knowledge of road rules, safety regulations, and best practices for the transport of construction materials and equipment
  3. Excellent driving skills, with a proven track record of safe and efficient vehicle operation
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with colleagues, clients, and suppliers
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on safety and attention to detail
  6. Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including early starts and weekend work as required
