About the role

Hydro Excavation Services is seeking experienced and skilled Pipe Layers, Vac Truck Operators, and Excavator Operators to join our team in Adelaide, SA. This full-time role is integral to the successful delivery of our construction projects, utilising a range of plant and machinery to safely and efficiently excavate, lay pipes, and support our wider operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Operating a range of heavy machinery including vac trucks, excavators, and other equipment to assist with the excavation and pipe laying process
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues
  • Providing support to the wider construction team, assisting with tasks as required
  • Maintaining equipment and machinery to the highest standards, proactively identifying and reporting any issues
  • Working collaboratively with the team to deliver projects on time and to the expected level of quality

What we're looking for

  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods, processes, and safety requirements
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to upholding high safety standards and a strong safety-first mindset
  • Relevant licences and qualifications, including a valid MR/HC driver's licence and any necessary certifications.
  • Working with Adelaide's Water and Sewer infrastructure.
