Wagners have a career opportunity for a motivated career minded team player to join our Finance Team as a Junior Accountant. Located in Toowoomba this role will assist with monthly accounting and reporting duties.

Duties

  • Maintain fixed asset work in progress reconciliation and fixed asset registers
  • Provide support with preparation of month-end and year-end processes
  • Provide support with budget preparation, monthly forecasts and financial statements
  • Review of general ledger reconciliations
  • Provide reports and ad hoc analysis for management
  • Participate in procedure documentation and maintenance
  • Various project and system tasks as required

Skills And Experience

  • Accounting degree or other relevant degree
  • Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles
  • Understanding of accounting standards
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
