Our client is a well-established local accounting firm with deep connections throughout Toowoomba and the Darling Downs. They work with a wide variety of clients, from regional enterprises and farming families to local businesses and are known for providing reliable bookkeeping and compliance services in a professional and supportive setting. 

They are now seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team, with the role open to either Junior level (minimum 2 years' experience) or Senior level (3+ years' experience). Accounting firm experience is preferred but not essential and strong preference will be given to candidates who are Toowoomba residents. 

In this position, you will prepare accurate working papers, deliver bookkeeping services, complete BAS and IAS returns, reconcile accounts, support compliance documentation and liaise with clients and stakeholders to resolve queries.  

The ideal candidate will bring proven bookkeeping or accounting administration experience, strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills and proficiency with accounting systems. A Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or Diploma of Accounting will be highly regarded.
