Regional Provider Support Manager (RPSM)

About the role

This role works in a dynamic, frontline customer service delivery team responsible for supporting training providers contracted under Smart & Skilled to deliver Government funded training across NSW. The Regional Provider Support Manager will play a critical, first point of contact role in supporting providers needs to comply with the contract and deliver quality training outcomes that align with NSW Skills priorities. The role will ensure a high standard of customer service is delivered to training providers through strategic relationship management delivering consistent support and proactively building rapport. The RPSM reports directly to the Manager Regional Customer Service, providing reports and factual information on provider performance, contract compliance and service quality. Working collaboratively and communicating effectively with a broad range of teams across Training Services including but not limited to, Regional Training Services, the Quality Assurance team and Training Systems Management team. The RPSM will be responsible for overseeing a caseload of providers to manage financial caps, improve student engagement and completion rates and provide intel on regional skills needs including skills market gaps.

About you

  • Able to establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with Providers, focusing on excellent customer service.
  • Providing support to training Providers focusing on continual improvement through student-centred approaches to training delivery that is embedded with industry input and practices.
  • Ability to establish regular reporting systems providing insight to provider performance and contract compliance, including financial cap management.
  • Showing experience in developing and delivering professional learning to build the capability of staff and systems for Providers and staff.
  • Capable of implementing a proactive approach to quality training delivery, including post-training destination data gathering and outcome reporting
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
