An exciting new permanent position has been created, for a hands on and experienced finance manager to join a great expanding business covering AU & NZ scope.

This is a newly created position, where you will have fantastic autonomy to help shape the growing team and own the finance & accounting functions for the AU & NZ 

Overview of the role;

  • Responsible for all day to day Financial and Accounting outcomes within the region
  • Leads the local finance team transaction processing and ledger close
  • Supports budgets and forecasts in conjunction with Finance Leads and Localities
  • Provide meaningful analysis to management to support fact-based decision-making.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance/business partnering leadership experience
  • Tertiary qualified business related degree
  • Membership of Professional Accounting body (ICA/CPA or equivalent) preferred

PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Significant experience in budgeting and month end close
  • Significant experience in treasury, tax compliance, regulatory reporting and similar accountabilities
  • Advanced Excel & other Miscrosoft365 suite skills
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong experience using ERP applications (tba advantageous)
  • Solid skills and experience working with Business Intelligence tools and reporting dashboards
  • Ability to work with various levels of management
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Experience in dealing with remote divisions (overseas)
  • Demonstrated success in working in an ambiguous environment
